I'm enjoying the new Fujifilm F10 digital camera I bought for documenting exhibits. It's very snappy -- the lens pops open almost immediately when I start the camera. And, the big plus: its high 1600 ISO setting allows for very good photos in low light -- a necessity when taking photos of museum exhibits, which tend to have lower light levels.
On the downside, the menu is a bit counter-intuitive (as this review on CNET points out), and it took me a while to realize I need to manually set the ISO to 1600 to take advantage of the low light feature. (The camera does remember the manual setting, though, so once I set it for 1600 ISO in manual mode, I don't need to do it again next time).
If you're reading this more than 6 months after I posted it, check around for more recent camera models. But good performance in low lighting is a key feature you'll want if you tend to take a lot of photos of exhibits...
