Met this afternoon with Michael Spock and a central team of staff from the Boston Children’s Museum early days. We’re shooting video, exploring the topic: What was it about this fertile time period that made the Museum such an innovator for new approaches to exhibits? And, how do these case studies still inform museum development today?
We’ll launch a website devoted to this early this next year, and integrate this into development of a book/DVD on the topic. We’ll announce the website in March, 2006, (I’ll post info in this blog) and will post opportunities for participation – gathering of stories – at the ACM and AAM conferences this coming spring…
